Dodgeball SA caters for a minimum of 10 players up to 250 participants, depending on the venue. The event format is tailored to the group size.

Where do you host corporate dodgeball team building events?

Events are hosted across Cape Town and Johannesburg. Dodgeball SA has a selection of ready-to-use venues, or the mobile arena can be brought to your own space. The arena can be set up on grass, in a hall, or at most outdoor event locations.

Is corporate dodgeball team building suitable for year-end functions?

Yes. Dodgeball SA team building events are specifically designed for company parties, year-end functions, and staff days. Nobody is excluded, and all participants are on an equal footing regardless of fitness level.

Do the dodgeballs hurt?

No. Dodgeball SA uses official soft dodgeballs that are safe for all participants. The game is high-energy and competitive, but the balls are designed not to cause injury.

How We Create The
Best Team Building Experience

We supply our Inflatable Dodgeball Arena, the latest music, experienced referees and a fantastic host. We also setup and provide the tournament fixtures, and run the full tournament on the day. We just need you to bring the players and the Gees. We can also organise catering and drinks if required on request.

If you don’t have space for our Mobile Dodgeball Arena, not to worry, we’ve got a list of venues which can be hired out (some at an additional rate) to host the tournament, or we can help you find a suitable venue. We cater for a minimum of 10 players right up to 200, depending on the venue, and we tailor your event to your specific needs.

2 We Handle Setup

Our team arrives well ahead of your colleagues to inflate the giant arena (18m x 10m x 3.5m high), set up the sound system and get all equipment in place. You just open the door.

The inflatable takes roughly 45-60 minutes to set up. We'll coordinate arrival time so everything looks amazing when the first colleague walks in.

3 Warm Up & Rules

Our DBSA host kicks things off with fun warm up games to break the ice and get the blood pumping, then walks everyone through the rules in a way that even first timers instantly get.

No experience needed. Energy levels go from zero to a hundred in minutes.

4 Tournament Time

Smaller Groups (<20): We split everyone into balanced teams and run a mini dodgeball tournament, with variation games like Dodge Cricket, Last Man Standing and Medic to keep every game fresh and exciting. Larger Groups (20 – 200 max): We recommend a pre-organized Tournament. You create the teams and tell us the team names in advance of the day itself. We will organise the schedule with an online link for participants to follow. Tournament Time: Group stages or round robin structure so every team gets to play plenty of dodgeball.

Prizes can include medals, pitchers of beer, bubbly and novelty awards. These are awarded to a selection of: winners, best team kit, best team name, worst team, best female player etc. You can decide how many and which prizes you want.

5 Drinks and Food Break

Drinks/food break happen on your schedule. We pause the action whenever you're ready.

We will continue the dodgeball action if there is time after.

6 Pack Down

Once the event wraps up, we pack everything down and leave the space spotless.

You'll be left happy, tired, and with a whole lot of great memories. Zero stress, zero mess.
